Description

TabiRela, a tabi-style comfort shoe, introduces the SANCHI series, which travels to different regions for its production. The first installment focuses on ‘Aizu cotton,’ a traditional textile from Fukushima Prefecture. With a history of 400 years in textile production, the ‘Harayama Textile Factory’ has been producing Aizu cotton for 120 years using traditional shuttle looms. ‘Hara Co., Ltd.’ continues this tradition, utilizing thick and sturdy fabric. Aizu cotton, long beloved as everyday wear in Japan, embodies the original charm of the fabric.
The ‘Bunko’ design incorporates the traditional motifs from the Harayama Textile Factory era while infusing the upper design with a sense of flowing stripes.
